Welcome to Loving Roots Junior Kindergarten. I am so excited to have the opportunity to introduce myself as the owner/operator of Loving Roots Childcare along side my wonderful daughter, Josie.
I have had a passion for educating, loving and empowering children for an entire life-time. My biggest accomplishment is raising three wonderful children! I hold a multi-sensory certification in the Orton-GIllingham method of math and language, I have my Early Childhood Education Diploma and specialize in teaching children's yoga.
The combination of being an academic educator, children's yoga teacher and a preschool teacher has taught me the importance of connection with students and their families.

Our environment will be staffed by Ms. Josie and myself. This is as important to your children as it is to us! All to often, centres have a hight turn over in staff, high student/teacher ratio and poor working conditions. We pride ourselves on being a strong teaching team that is creative and balanced with the same value system! We believe in creating relationships with children that are rooted in patience and kindness.

Welcome to Loving Roots Childcare. I am proud to introduce myself as the co-director of Loving Roots Childcare. I have worked as an Early Childhood Educator for the past seven years and am thrilled to finally be running a centre alongside my mother, Karen.
My love of art, animals, children, and educating have come together in this field to create something truly exciting. I am grateful to be able to share my passions with the children that we care for through nature walks, crafts, inquiry, and more.

I am currently working towards my bachelor degree in hopes of one day becoming an elementary school teacher.

I look forward to letting our imaginations run wild throughout our learning and creating experiences.

Ms. Karen and Ms. Josie have been running preschool classes together for the past three years. Having the opportunity to open a center of their own has been a dream come true.
